HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE VILAS V.AFZULPURKAR WRIT PETITION No.42091 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Revenue.

The petitioner states that he is the absolute owner and possessor of agricultural land admeasuring Ac.0.75 cents in Survey No.236/3A of Markapur Revenue Village in Markapur Mandal, Prakasam District. He made an application, dated 10.08.2015, under Form VI-A of the Andhra Pradesh Rights in Land and Pattadar Pass Books Act, 1971 (for short, 'the Act') before the Tahsildar, Markapur Mandal, Prakasam District, the 3rd respondent, for grant of pattadar passbook and title deeds and paid the requisite fee. Alleging that no action is taken by the 3rd respondent, the present Writ Petition is filed. In view of the fact that the proceedings under Form VI-A of the Act are required to be considered in a time span of 45 days, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application, dated 10.08.2015, and pass appropriate orders expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
