THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.V.SESHA SAI WRIT PETITION No.16860 of 2018 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Municipal Administration and Urban Development, and Sri Sampath Prabhakar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for GHMC.
When the matter is taken up, it is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that, for redressal of their grievance, petitioners herein, submitted a representation on 20.06.2018 (acknowledged by the office of the Deputy Commissioner on 17.07.2018) and, despite lapse of considerable length of time, no action has been taken so far.
On the other hand, it is submitted by the learned Standing Counsel that if any such representation is pending consideration before the sixth respondent, the same will be verified and appropriate action will be taken, strictly in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the stakeholders.
Recording the above submission, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court deems it appropriate to dispose of the Writ Petition, with a direction to the respondent-GHMC authorities to verify the representation, dated 20.06.2018 (received on 17.07.2018), said to have been
submitted by the petitioners herein, and take further action/pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the stakeholders, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight weeks. Accordingly, Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
