And Telangana State Road Transport Corporation and another
...Respondents
Counsel for the petitioner: Mr.V.Narasimha Goud Counsel for the respondents: Mr. V.Ravi Kumar, for Mr.A.Ravi Babu, standing counsel for TSRTC The Court made the following:
ORDER:
This writ petition is filed for a certiorari to quash proceedings, dated 28.05.2015, of respondent No.2, whereby he has placed the petitioner under suspension pending enquiry.
The petitioner, who was working as a Controller in Devarkonda Depot of the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation, allegedly misbehaved with Smt.Y.Sashikala, a contract conductor working in the said depot at 9.00 p.m. on 27.05.2015, uttered indescribable, obscene and indecent words, and demanded sexual favour. A charge sheet was issued to him on 28.05.2015 containing two charges. A criminal case was also stated to have been filed against him. After hearing Mr.V.Narasimha Goud, learned counsel for the petitioner and upon considering charge No.1, which is grave in nature, I do not find any reason to interfere with the impugned proceedings. The learned counsel for the petitioner, however, submitted that respondent No.2 may be directed to complete the enquiry and pass a final order in a time bound manner.
Having regard to the aforesaid request, respondent No.2 is directed to complete the enquiry and pass a final order within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Subject to the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. As a sequel to disposal of this writ petition, W.P.M.P.No.26968 of 2015 filed by the petitioner for interim relief shall stand disposed of as infructuous.
