Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned standing counsel for the respondent - Corporation.

Petitioner challenged the notification dated 01.09.2014 informing him about his date of retirement from service as 28.02.2015.

Petitioner alleged that there was an erroneous entry made showing his date of birth as 13.12.1957 instead of 18.02.1957 and he was entitled to continue in service till the end of December, 2015.

This Court, by order dated 04.02.2015 made in W.P.M.P.No.2424 of 2015, granted interim stay of notification dated 01.09.2014 with an observation to continue the petitioner in service till he attained the age of superannuation in December, 2015.

Learned standing counsel for the respondent - Corporation informs the Court that petitioner was continued in service till December, 2015 and retired thereafter.

In view of the same, the cause in the Writ Petition does not survive for adjudication.

The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Pending Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
