ORDER:

This writ petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:

"to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly one in the Nature of Mandamus declare the action of the oral direction of the 4th and 5th respondents to the 8th to 33rd respondents in oral termination of the service of the Petitioners in the organization of the respondents from 01.10.2015 as illegal, arbitrary, unjust, unconstitutional, unlawful and against to the provisions of the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act, 1970 and against to an Article 12, 14, 16, 19, 21 and 23 of the Constitution of India and against to the Principles of Natural Justice and against to the Judgment of an Apex Court and set aside the same."

Heard Sri Chikkudu Prabhakar, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleader for Panchayat Raj for respondents 1, 2 and 4, learned Government Pleader for Irrigation for respondents 3 and 6, learned Government Pleader for Labour for 7th respondent and Sri G. Narender Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for respondents 5 and 8 to 33.

When the matter is taken up, it is stated by the learned counsel for the petitioners that for redressal of the grievance of the petitioners, the petitioners herein submitted a representation, dated 19.10.2015, to the District Collector, Karimnagar District (4th respondent) and no action has been taken on the said representation and the learned counsel for the petitioners has requested this Court to direct the 4th respondent to take appropriate direction on the said

representation, in accordance with law, by fixing some time frame. The said request is not opposed by the other side.

4. For the aforesaid reasons, the Writ Petition is disposed of, without expressing any opinion on the merits and demerits of the issue and the entitlement of the petitioners, directing the District Collector, Karimnagar (4th respondent) to pass appropriate orders on the representation, dated 19.10.2015, said to have been submitted by the petitioners, in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
