HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY Writ Petition No. 12400 of 2012 ORDER :

This writ petition is filed seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the respondents in calling the petitioner being a lady to the offices of the 2nd and 3rd respondents under the pretext of enquiry based on a false Complaint No.2333 of 2010, dated 23.02.2011 filed before the Hon'ble A.P.Lokayukta, in order to harass the petitioner as illegal, arbitrary and violative of Article 14 of the Constitution of India and consequently to direct the respondents not to interfere with the life of the petitioner under the pretext of enquiry without following due procedure.

2. Heard both sides.

3. Though the matter was listed on 26.04.2012, neither counter affidavit is filed by the respondents and nor any interim order was granted.

4. A perusal of the impugned complaint dated 23.02.2011 shows that certain allegations have been made against the petitioner and the same is pending with the A.P.Lokayukta. However, due to efflux of time, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for consideration. Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, if the petitioner is still threatened by the respondents, she can challenge the same. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous applications, if any pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand dismissed.
