HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITION No.32483 OF 2017 O R D E R :
The case of the petitioner is that he is working as Sweeper in Chilkur Police Station, Chilkur Village & Mandal, Suryapet District from 01.01.1991. The grievance of the petitioner is that he was not being paid his working period salary from 01.01.1991 to till date; and that the concerned Sub Inspector of Police, Chilkur, Suryapet has also issued service certificate dated 01.08.2017 stating that the petitioner is working in the Chilkur Police Station as Sweeper from 01.01.1991 to till date and he is attending the duties regularly. The petitioner also submitted several representation to the respondents in respect of his grievance. As no action is being taken till today, present writ petition is filed.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court in similar circumstances passed order dated 11.08.2017 in WP.No.23471 of 2017 directing the concerned authorities to take action for payment of salary to the petitioner therein. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services on instructions submits that the petitioner was only worked as Parttime not Full-time and claiming salary as Full-time employee. As already the Superintendent of Police, Chilkur, Suryapet District where the petitioner is working has issued Service Certificate dated 01.08.2017 stating that the petitioner is working in the said station from 01.01.1991 to till date and attending the duties regularly, the respondents are directed to consider for
payment of salary to the petitioner which is due to him, by taking into consideration the service certificate dated 01.08.2017, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
As a sequel thereto, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in the writ petition, shall stand closed.
