HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 4575 of 2013 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section Cr.P.C, the petitioner/accused seeks to quash the proceedings in CC No. 17 of 2011 on the file of II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Hyderabad, registered for the offences under Sections 447, 188 and 431 IPC. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 20.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Afzalgunj Police Station, Hyderabad City and submitted that the case was ended in acquittal on 25.02.2015 and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in CC No. 17 of 2011 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
