Heard Sri P.Venkateshwer Rao, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Sri N.Vasudeva Reddy, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-APSRTC.

2. This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in not granting 12 years Special Grade/Stagnation increment to the petitioners upon completion of 12 years of service in their respective posts, as arbitrary and illegal.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submits that the issue involved in this writ petition is squarely covered by a judgment of this Court in W.P.No.3800 of 2012, dated 26-3-2012, which was rendered based on the earlier judgment of this Court in W.P.No.3754 of 2010, dated 21-022012.

4. In the aforesaid judgment, it was held that after completion of 12 years of service, the petitioners therein were entitled to 12 years Special Grade/Stagnation Increment irrespective of the fact in which region they have served.

5. Following the ratio laid down in the aforesaid judgment, the writ petition is disposed of and the respondents are directed to grant 12 years Special Grade/

Stagnation increment to the petitioners. The miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
