HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT WRIT PETITION No.23813 of 2016 ORDER:

The present petition is filed for not taking any action on notice dated 27.08.2014 following procedure under Section 3E(2)(b) of the National Highways Act, 1956 (for short 'the Act'). Learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondent No.1 submits that the issue raised in the said notice has already been addressed to the Competent authority-cum- Joint Collector, Kadapa (respondent No.3) on 13.10.2014 to take necessary action as per the provisions contained under Subsection 2(b) of Section 3-E of the Act. In view of the above, I hereby dispose of the Writ Petition directing respondent No.3 to take decision on the notice noted above within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
