This criminal petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C. to quash the proceedings in Crime No.290 of 2013 of Mahabubnagar (Rural) Police Station, Mahabubnagar Town.

The petitioners are the accused in the said crime. On a complaint filed by the 1st respondent/de facto complainant on 20.08.2013, the police registered a case in Crime No.290 of 2013 for the offences punishable under Sections 120-B, 403, 405, 406, 420, 506 and 34 IPC against the accused.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners and respondent No.1 and learned Public Prosecutor for the State.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the criminal petition against the 1st petitioner/A.1 has been dismissed as withdrawn vide order of this Court dated 21.10.2013. He further submits that the police have completed the investigation and filed the final report and therefore, no further orders are required in this petition. Learned counsel for the 1st respondent submits that the de facto complainant has filed a protest petition against the final report filed by the police and the same is pending before the learned Magistrate. Learned Public Prosecutor produced a letter dated 06.06.2017 addressed by the Sub-Inspector of Police, Mahabubnagar Rural Police Station, Mahabubnagar District, stating that a final report has been filed referring the case as of civil in nature and sought for closing all further proceedings in this matter.

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel and the learned Public Prosecutor, no further orders are required in this matter and therefore, all further proceedings are closed.
