THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE K.C.BHANU AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE M.SATYANARAYANA MURTHY WRIT APPEAL No.391 of 2015 JUDGMENT: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice K.C.Bhanu) Heard both sides.

2. It is an admitted fact that the petitioner does not have the minimum 75% attendance to write the examinations of III year II semester of B.Tech course and the respondents have not permitted the petitioner to writ the examinations.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner contended that during III year II semester, the petitioner wrote four supplementary examinations on four days and if that is taken into consideration, the attendance would be 65.99%.

4. On the other hand, the learned standing counsel for respondent No.1 University contended that minimum 75% attendance is required to writ examinations as per the University regulations and that 10% can be condoned on medical grounds.

5. The petitioner is said to have made a representation to the respondents for condonation of 10% attendance shortage on medical grounds and the same is pending for consideration. Therefore, the appropriate decision has to be taken by the respondents themselves.

6. Accordingly, the Writ Appeal is dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Appeal shall stand closed.
