The case of the petitioner is that he made a complaint on 07-01-2013 against the 4th respondent, as no action has been taken by respondents 2 and 3, he sent copies of the said complaint to the higher authorities also. But still no action has been taken. Aggrieved by the same, the present writ petition is filed. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Home produced written instructions stating that the complaint dated 07-01-2013 is not received, but endorsement filed at Page No.17 goes to show that the complaint was received by the police. The petitioner stated that he forwarded copies of complaint to the higher authorities also.

Heard both sides.

In view of the same, the competent authority is directed to take action on the complaint, dated 07-01-2013, given by the petitioner in terms of judgment of Apex Court in Lalitha Kumari v. Government of Uttar Pradesh1.

With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. As a sequel to the disposal of this petition, miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed.
