HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO ORDER:

Petitioner was granted Mineral Dealership License for storing/selling/trading in stone and metal aggregates. The license was for a period five years commencing from 24.11.2011 and expiring on 23.11.2016. Petitioner applied for renewal of license on 12.10.2016. Alleging that the application for renewal is not processed so far, whereas Mineral Dealership License granted earlier expires on 23.11.2016, this writ petition is filed. 2.

Having regard to the fact that the renewal application is pending, this Court is not inclined to go into the merits of the rival contentions of the issue and the writ petition is disposed of without expressing any opinion on merits of the issue, directing the Deputy Commissioner of Mines and Geology, Hyderabad (3rd respondent) to process the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.10.2016 for renewal of Mineral Dealership License and to pass appropriate orders as warranted by law, if the application is in order, and decision be communicated to the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably by 23.11.2016. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed. No costs.
