HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE A. RAMALI NGESWARA RAO Writ Petition No. 45009 of 2016 Order:

This Writ Petition was filed challenging the action of the respondents in not registering the complaint of the petitioner dated 03.12.2016.

When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Government Pleader for Home, on the basis of written instructions, submits that the petitioner has not approached the second respondent Police Station nor made any complaint before the second respondent on 03.12.2016. In the case of such denial, this Court cannot direct the second respondent to register a non-existing complaint. However, it is open to the petitioner to take appropriate remedies including lodging a fresh complaint and approaching the police in accordance with law. The Writ Petition is, accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
