HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE U.DURGA PRASAD RAO CRIMINAL PETITION No. 2617 of 2017 ORDER:

In this petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C, petitioners/A2 to A5 seek to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 214 of 2016 of Aize Police Station, Mahaboobnagar District, registered for the offences under Section 498-A IPC and Section 3 & 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2.

When the matter came up for hearing, learned Assistant Public Prosecutor produced the letter dated 22.06.2018 of Sub-Inspector of Police, Aize Police Station, Jogulamba Gadwal District and submitted that investigation is completed and charge sheet was filed on 14.10.2017 before Judicial First Class Magistrate, Gadwal and CC is numbered and therefore, the petition which is filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No. 214 of 2017 has become infructuous and hence the same may be dismissed. 3.

In view of the above submission of learned Public Prosecutor, the Criminal Petition is dismissed as Infructuous. As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
