O R D E R

The prayer of the petitioner in this case is as under: 'This Hon'ble Court may be pleased to issue a writ, order or direction more particularly one in the nature of a Writ of Mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents in not initiating the effective steps to Recall/Withdraw the Lookout Circular against Konduru Sunil Kumar (A-1) despite the quashing of C.C.No.149 of 2012 before the Judicial First Class Magistrate, Kota, SPSR Nellore District (U/Sec.498(A) IPC, Sec.3 of D.P. Act) vide Crl.P.No.15908 of 2014, dt:23.12.2014 of Hon'ble High Court at Hyderabad is arbitrary, illegal and violation of Article 21 of Constitution of India and consequently direct the Respondents 3 to 6 to initiate the effective steps forthwith to Recall/Withdraw the Lookout Circular against Konduru Sunil Kumar (A-1) and to pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.'

The Additional Director General of Police, Crime Investigation Department, Andhra Pradesh, Hyderabad, addressed letter dated 12.02.2016 to the office of the learned Government Pleader for Home, wherein he stated that upon quashing of Crime No.41 of 2012 registered against the petitioner under Section 498A IPC and the provisions of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, vide Criminal Petition No.15908 of 2014, the Superintendent of Police, SPSR Nellore District, addressed letter dated 14.11.2015 seeking deletion of the Look Out Circular issued in the name of the petitioner and pursuant thereto, letter dated 09.12.2015 was addressed to the Joint Director, IB, Ministry of Human Affairs, Government of India, New Delhi. In response to this letter, the Look Out Circular was stated to have been deleted vide Message No.1/SIC(DMC)/LOC/2015-9681 dated 16.12.2015 of DCIO/DMC, SI Cell, IB, New Delhi. This was stated to have been communicated to the Superintendent of Police, SPSR Nellore District.

In the light of the aforestated developments, the grievance of the petitioner in relation to the Look Out Circular stands settled. No action shall be taken against the petitioner pursuant to the said Look Out Circular in the light of this deletion.
