ORAL ORDER:
Petitioner is working as Assistant Manager in A.P. State Beverages Corporation Ltd. He was placed under suspension on 10.7.2017 and Charge memo was issued on 24.7.2017. In response to the same, petitioner submitted his explanation on 16.8.2017. Not satisfied with his explanation, enquiry officer was appointed on 16.9.2017. 2.
Learned counsel for petitioner submitted that no further progress is made after enquiry officer was appointed. He also submitted that by proceedings dated 20.11.2017 suspension against Stores Officer was revoked and even though petitioner made a representation on 5.3.2018 to revoke his suspension, the same is not acted upon and petitioner is continued under suspension. Learned counsel would submit that for no fault petitioner was kept under suspension and there is no progress in enquiry.

It is seen from the material on record that charge memo was issued on 24.7.2017; last notice issued to conduct enquiry is dated 20.2.2018 and it appears there is no further progress in the enquiry. 4.
Having regard to these facts, writ petition is disposed of directing Disciplinary Authority to complete disciplinary proceedings as expeditiously as possible preferably within a period of three months. For any reason not attributable to petitioner or any other delinquent employee in completing the enquiry, the Managing Director is directed to review the suspension of the petitioner, more particularly taking note of revocation of suspension of Stores Officer vide proceedings dated 20.11.2017.

Subject to above, writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
