HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO WRIT PETITION No.3785 of 2015 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed seeking to declare the action of the respondents in demanding a sum of Rs.1,97,848/- towards revised bill for the month of April, 2014, as arbitrary and illegal.

Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that without furnishing necessary details as sought for by the petitioner, the respondents have been demanding to pay the amount.

Similar question fell for consideration before learned Single Judge of this Court in WP No.41055 of 2014, wherein the learned single Judge directed the respondents to submit all the required data within a period of two weeks and not to disconnect the service connection for non-payment of Rs.4,79,313/-.

As the issue involved in the present case is identical and squarely covered by the aforesaid judgment, this writ petition is also disposed of directing the respondents to furnish details as sought for by the petitioner vide his representation dated 10.07.2014. The petitioner is at liberty to avail appropriate remedy, if it is not satisfied with the calculation sheet and MRI data to be supplied by the respondents. For a period of two

weeks from the date of supply of such details by the 3rd respondent, the power supply to the petitioner's service connection shall not be disconnected for non-payment of Rs.1,97,848/- as demanded in the impugned letter dated 26.04.2014. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
