THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE C.V. BHASKAR REDDY Contempt Case No.1660 of 2017 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed by the petitioner alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by a learned Single Judge of this Court in Writ Petition No.26089 of 2016, dated 08.08.2016.

Vide above order, the learned Single Judge disposed of the Writ Petition by directing the 2nd respondent therein to consider petitioner's application dated 18.07.2016, and communicate its decision thereon to the petitioner within a period of two (02) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of the order.

Alleging wilful disobedience of the order passed by the learned Single Judge, the petitioner has filed the present Contempt Case against the respondent. 4.

Ms.

Sri Lalitha, learned counsel representing Ms.D.S. Lakshmi, counsel for the petitioner, submitted that the respondents have complied with the order passed by the learned Single Judge in Writ Petition No.26089 of

2016, dated 08.08.2016; therefore, the cause in the Contempt Case no longer survives for adjudication; and hence, the Contempt Case may be closed.

On the other hand, learned Standing Counsel for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation, appearing for the respondents, also submitted that they have complied with the order passed by the learned Single Judge, and there is no wilful and deliberate violation of the same. 6.

In view of above submissions by both counsel, this Court is of the considered view that the present Contempt Case may be closed since the cause in the Contempt Case no longer survives for adjudication.

Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. No costs. 8.
