THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.11818 OF 2017 ORDER:

Petitioners claim that they have been working continuously with the respondent - Bank. Their grievance is that even though there is requirement of posts and the petitioners are fully qualified, their entitlement of absorption into regular posts is not considered and they are made to suffer for no fault of them, though their services are utilised which can be discharged as a regular employee.

2.

Ventilating their grievance, the petitioners submitted representation as early as on 17.11.2011 requesting to revise their wages as well as regularise their services.

3.

Learned counsel for the petitioners brought to the notice of the Court with regard to the correspondence on record, which would disclose that the requirement of staff and availability of vacancies are notified by the competent authority, but so far no decision is taken.

4.

Since the petitioners have already ventilated their grievance in their representation, dated 17.11.2011, and having regard to the requisitions placed by the respective branches, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to examine the claim of the petitioners for revision of their wages as well as regularisation of their services and pass appropriate orders as warranted by law within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioners. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
