THE HON'BLE Dr. JUSTICE SHAMEEM AKTHER CRIMINAL REVISION CASE No.472 of 2021 ORDER:

This Criminal Revision Case, under Sections 397 and 401 of Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, is filed by the petitioner/de facto complainant, challenging the order dated 13.09.2021 passed in S.C.No.20 of 2019 by the learned Family Court Judge-cumAdditional Sessions Judge at Karimnagar in clubbing S.C.No.20 of 2019 with S.C.No.126 of 2017, for both cases to be disposed together at once.

Heard the learned counsel for the revision petitioner/de facto complainant, learned counsel for respondent Nos.3 to 6 and perused record.

The Court below vide impugned order dated 13.09.2021 opined that the subject Sessions Cases have to be disposed of together in the interest of justice. In that process, no irregularity has been pointed out. The subject crime pertains to the year 2015. Expeditious trial is a right of the parties to the litigation. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel for the revision petitioner/de facto complainant, it would be appropriate to direct the Court below to expedite and conclude the trial of the subject Sessions Cases, which is the right of the accused as well as the de facto complainant. It is brought to the notice of this Court that on 21.09.2021, schedule was given in the subject cases and it was postponed for want of service of summons on the witnesses.

Under these circumstances, the Court below is directed to pre-pone the date of hearing and expedite the hearing and proceedings and conclude the trial of the subject Sessions Cases within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above direction, the Criminal Revision Case is disposed of.
