The respondent No.2 appeared before this Court pursuant to the direction of this Court and states that the Essential Commodities Proceeding under 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act, 1955 has been disposed of on 15.6.2018. She has also filed an affidavit giving detailed reasons as to why this case could not be disposed of earlier. 2.

This Writ Petition has been filed questioning inordinate delay in disposal of the Essential Commodities Proceeding under 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act and since the same has been disposed of and reasons have been assigned for the delay in disposal, the cause in the Writ Petition no longer survives. Accordingly the Writ Petition is closed.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition, shall stand closed.
