The Court made the following :

ORDER:

This Writ Petition is filed for a mandamus to declare the action of respondent No.1 in conducting panchanama dated 27-2-2009 and seizing lorry bearing No.MH-26-B-7717 along with 12.50 Quintals of rice as illegal and arbitrary. At the hearing, the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies (TS) submitted that in pursuance of interim order granted by this Court on 4-3-2009, the seized lorry and rice were released to the petitioner and proceedings under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities Act 1955 are pending. With the release of the seized lorry and the rice, the grievance with which the Writ Petition is filed stood redressed. Hence, the Writ Petition is disposed of as infructuous. As a sequel to the disposal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.5797 of 2009 is disposed of.
