The petition coming on for hearing, upon perusing the Petition and the grounds filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Sri Kambhampati Ramesh Babu, Advocate for the Petitioners and of Public Prosecutor(TG) for the respondent, the Court made the following.

CRL.P.No.7381 of 2015 ORDER:

The petitioners, who are A-1 and A-2, in Crime No.634 of 2015 of KPHB Police Station, Cyberabad, registered for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A I.P.C. and Sections 3 and 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, moved this application for anticipatory bail. The case of the prosecution, in brief, is that the marriage between the defacto complainant and the 1st petitioner-A1 was performed on 23.11.2003 and that at the time of marriage, an amount of Rs.5,00,000/- and gold ornaments were presented as dowry. It is alleged that after the marriage, the 1st petitioner used to come to house in a drunken condition and harass the defacto complainant as she is not able to give birth to a child and also for additional dowry. It is further alleged that the 2nd petitioner also used to harass the defacto complainant with abusive words.

Record discloses that entire investigation has been completed and that there is no chance for tampering the evidence by the petitioners. The 1st petitioner is a Government employee and the 2nd petitioner is his brother and that they are permanent residents of SPSR Nellore District.
