This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking writ of mandamus declaring the action of the second respondent in issuing proceedings dated 18.05.2016, as illegal and arbitrary.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the second respondent permitted the fourth respondent to ply the vehicles up to 31.08.2016 only. Therefore, the very purpose of filing the Writ Petition has become infructuous. 3.
