HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A. RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No.16725 of 2015 ORDER:

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader for Civil Supplies.

The petitioner is the proprietor of fertilizer shop. On 03.06.2015, the fourth respondent, along with his staff, inspected his shop and seized some stock. Pursuant thereto, 6A proceedings were initiated by the second respondent. The petitioner filed an application on 05.06.2015 for release of the seized stock. As the said application was not considered and disposed of, the present Writ Petition is filed. Admittedly, proceedings, under Section 6-A of the Essential Commodities, are pending. The petitioner filed an application on 05.06.2015 for release of the seized stock, and the same is pending.

In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the second respondent to consider and dispose of the application of the petitioner dated 05.06.2015, for release of the seized stock, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
