ORDER

In spite of the matter being listed under the caption "for dismissal", none appeared for the petitioner. Challenging the action of the respondents in not providing electricity meter to the house of the petitioner situated at Sardar Patel Colony, Lal Bazar, Secunderabad, the present writ petition is filed.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents contended that if the petitioner submits a fresh representation seeking electricity connection, the respondents would consider his case and pass appropriate orders.

In view of the same, the Writ Petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to submit a representation afresh seeking electricity connection, if not already provided, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of such representation, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks thereafter.
