Heard Mr. T.Sreedhar for petitioner and the learned Assistant Government Pleader (Assignment) for respondents 1 to 6. The petitioner complaints inaction of respondent nos.3 to 6 in considering and disposing of claim Application No.APDL011700009404 dated 17.8.2017 made for regularization under A.P. Dotted Lands (Updation in Resettlement Register) Act, 2017 for Survey Nos.170-C, 170-D, 267-4B, 267-4C, 268-1B and 268-1C of Veligandla village of Kondapuram Mandal of SPSR Nellore District, as illegal and arbitrary.

At request of respondents, the writ petition has been adjourned to enable the respondents to file counter or send instructions in the matter. Instructions received from the 5th respondent vide letter Rc.C.260/2018 dated 4.6.2018 is placed on record.

I have perused the writ prayer and also Annexures filed along writ affidavit.

The instructions dated 4.6.2018 show that the application, in fact, has been considered and report is forwarded to the competent authority for consideration and decision. The Assistant Government Pleader, on instructions, requests further time of three months to dispose of the Application No.

APDL011700009404 dated 17.8.2017. Request is contrary to the time line stipulated under the Act. As the issue is at the stage of final consideration, this Court is of the view that the respondent

nos.2 to 6 can be directed to dispose of Application No. APDL011700009404 dated 17.8.2017 within six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.

The Writ Petition is disposed of as indicated above. No order as to costs.
