This Court, while admitting the writ petition, passed interim order dated 07.02.2008 in WPMP No.3595 of 2008 directing the 2nd respondent to re-consider the case of the petitioner for promotion.

Now, Sri Gangula Ashok Kumar Reddy, learned Standing Counsel appearing for the 2nd respondent states that the petitioner has already retired on 31.03.2011. Since already there is a direction to consider the case of the petitioner for promotion, this writ petition is disposed of in terms of interim order dated 07.02.2008.
