.....Respondents The Court made the following:
- 2 - THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE P.NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION NO.19700 OF 2019 ORDER:
Heard learned counsel for petitioner and learned Government Pleader for Social Welfare.
2.
In pursuant to the recruitment Notification No.29 of 2017 dated 02.06.2017 to the post of Principal in Schools run by various Societies, notified by the Telangana State Public Service Commission, petitioner responded to the said notification and participated in the selections. Petitioner was qualified in the written examination. For further selection process, the eligibility qualification was verified and having found that petitioner does not have full time teaching experience for considerable period and has only part time teaching experience and that administrative experience was in primary school, his candidature was rejected. The decision was communicated to the petitioner vide Memo dated 22.07.2019, which is challenged in this writ petition. 3.
As per the recruitment notification, a candidate must have educational qualifications, computer skills and experience. It requires eight years of teaching experience. It includes five years as Post Graduate teacher in schools or junior lecturer in junior college and three years of administrative experience as Headmaster of high school or principal of Junior college. Thus, the emphasis is on administrative experience as headmaster of high school. 4.
Admittedly, petitioner does not have the experience as Headmaster of high school but claims experience as Headmaster of primary school, the same is not the required qualification and as
- 3 - petitioner has not challenged the eligibility criteria, rejection of his application cannot be faulted.
5.
Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed. ___________________ P.NAVEEN RAO, J 9th September, 2019 Rds
