HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 20322 OF 2003 ORDER :

This Writ Petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to sanction physically handicapped allowance from 14.5.1992 and sought a consequential direction to grant physically handicapped allowance from the date of his regularization i.e., from 14.5.1992 and pay arrears of physically handicapped allowance.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the respondents are not granting him physically handicapped allowance meant for physically handicapped persons from 14.5.1992 and contends that appropriate orders may be passed by directing the respondents to pay physically handicapped allowance to the petitioner.

This Court, having considered the submissions made by the learned counsel for the parties, is of the considered view that this writ petition can be disposed of directing the petitioner to make a representation to the respondents within two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and upon such representation being received, the respondents shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks thereafter. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
