THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAMALINGESWARA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 12633 of 2017 ORDER:

This writ petition is filed challenging the action of respondent No.2 in not issuing the Backward Class-E (B.C.'E') Integrated Community Certificate to the petitioner pursuant to his application, dated 24.03.2017.

The petitioner applied for the post of Sub-Inspector (Civil) through online. He appeared for physical measurement and physical efficiency test and was qualified. Thereafter, he appeared for preliminary examination and obtained 102 marks followed by physical test with 38 marks, totalling to 140 marks and was qualified for main examination. He appeared in the main examination and secured 241 out of 400 marks. His name was not short-listed for interview. When he came to know that the cut off marks for B.C.'E' candidate is only 240, since he secured 241 marks and he belongs to B.C.'E' community, he applied to respondent No.2 for issuance of community certificate in order to produce the same before the competent authority for consideration. When respondent No.2 has not issued integrated community certificate, in spite of his application, dated 24.03.2017, the present writ petition is filed. Since the grievance of the petitioner is for issuance of integrated community certificate, pursuant to his application, dated

24.03.2017, the writ petition is deposed of directing respondent No.2 to consider the application of the petitioner in accordance with law and issue the same as expeditiously as possible, but not later than four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this writ petition shall stand closed.
