This Criminal Revision Case is filed by the defacto complainant, being aggrieved by the judgment dated 17.12.2007 passed in C.C.No.33 of 2003 on the file of XIII Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate (Mahila Court), Hyderabad.

The brief facts of the case are that on the complaint lodged by the defacto complainant/petitioner herein, a case in Cr.No.74 of 2001 was registered against Accused Nos.1 to 3/respondents herein on the file of Women Police Station, Begumpet, North Zone, Secunderabad. 3.

The accused were tried for the offences punishable for the offences punishable under Sections 498-A of IPC And Sections 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act. During the course of trial, the prosecution examined P.Ws.1 to 4 and got marked Exs.P.1 to P.18. On behalf of defence, none were examined and documents Exs.D1 to D6 were marked. After full trial, the trial Court vide judgment dated 17.12.2007 held that A1 to A3 are found not guilty for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of IPC and Sections 4 and 6 of Dowry Prohibition Act and accordingly acquitted them under Section 248(1) of Cr.PC. Being aggrieved by the said

judgment dated 17.12.2007, the defacto-complainant filed the present Criminal Revision Case.

Having heard the learned counsel for petitioner Sri O.Kailashnath Reddy, learned counsel for respondent/accused Sri Goverdhan Reddy and the learned Public Prosecutor for respondent No.4 and having perused the material available on record, this Court is of the view that the trial Court has meticulously examined the entire evidence on record and passed the order under challenge. There is no illegality, impropriety or irregularity in the impugned judgment, so as to interfere with the same by exercising revisional jurisdiction under Sections 397 and 401 of Cr.P.C. None of the contentions raised on behalf of the petitioner merit consideration. Therefore, the Criminal Revision Case is devoid of merits and is liable to be dismissed and is accordingly dismissed.
