No representation for the petitioner.

The petitioner prays for Mandamus declaring the action of the 3rd respondent in calling the petitioner to Uppal Police Station, detaining him for hours together and pressurizing him to admit that there is impersonation etc., as illegal, arbitrary and unconstitutional. 3.

The Assistant Government Pleader, basing on written instructions dated 13.11.2013, submits that on the complaint of one, Krishna Patel, crime No.666 of 2013 under Sections 420, 448 and 427 I.P.C. was registered. The crime is investigated and in the process, petitioner's involvement is also examined. He denies that the petitioner was called to Station or pressurized as stated in the writ affidavit. The Writ Petition is filed only to prevent the 3rd respondent from objectively investigating into the offence registered in Crime No.666 of 2013. It is further stated that if sufficient clues are forthcoming about the involvement of the petitioner, the investigating agency will show the petitioner herein as accused and then proceed in the matter. 4.

The statement is placed on record and the Writ Petition is closed as no further order is necessary. No order as to costs. 5.
