Counsel for the Petitioner: SRI KONETI RAJA REDDY Counsel for the Respondents: SRI J.ANIL KUMAR (SC FOR APHC) The Court made the following: ORDER
THE HON'BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE SATISH CHANDRA STIARMA AND THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE ABHINAND KUMAR SHAVILI WRIT PETITION No. 14656 of 2014 ORDER: eer tle Hon'ble the Chief Justice Satish Ctandra Shqr.7.a) The petitioner before this Court has filed the present rrgrit petition being aggrieved by the action of the respondents in not permitting the petitioner to appear in the written examination for the post of Junior Assistant. The facts of the case reveal that the petitioner, pursuant to the notification dated 16.12.2OI3, applied for the post of Junior Assistant and he was required to affix three photographs duly attested by a Gazetted Oflicer. The photograph of the petitioner on the halI ticket was attested. Ho'*'ever, it is stated that on account of oversight, the photograph was not attested by the Gazetted Officer on the ) ) application. Meaning thereby, only one photograph was not attested by the Gazetted Officer and this Court has permittecl the petitioner to appear in the written examination in question.
Learned counsel lor the High Court, on instructions, submits that the petitioner has cleared the examination
and is serving under the establishment of the District Judge, Adilabad.
It is nobody's case that the petitioner was not the person who has appeared in the examination and the authorities have verified the correctness of the photograph and merely because one photograph was not attested, this Court does not find any reason to cancel the appointment, which has already been done long back, especially when the same person whose photograph was on the hall ticket has appeared in the examination and obtained the job. At this juncture, no orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition.
The writ petition stands a_llowed accordingly. The miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall t\ stand closed. There sha_Il be no order as to costs.
