THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 19795 OF 2019 O R D E R:

This Writ Petition is filed to declare the action of the respondent authorities in interfering with the peaceful possession and enjoyment of the petitioners over their respective lands situated in various survey numbers in Rejerla Village, Khammam District, as illegal and arbitrary.

It is the case of the petitioners that they had already submitted the representation dated 28.08.2019 to the respondent authorities pointing out that there are two alternate existing roads and laying a diversionary road in the midst of their agricultural land is unwarranted and deprives their livelihood.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Government Pleaders for Mines & Geology and Land Acquisition and Sri J. Srinivasa Rao, learned Standing Counsel for Singareni Collieries Company Limited.

Since it is stated that the representation of the petitioners dated 28.08.2019 had not been attended to by the respondent authorities, without going into the merits or otherwise of the matter, it is directed that the respondent authorities shall consider and dispose of the said representation in accordance with law and communicate the decision taken thereon to the petitioners, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition is accordingly, disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any stand closed.
