It is the case of the petitioners that they have been assigned land situated in village Manchanapally, by way of pattas on 30-5-1972 and they are in possession of the said land. On 17.6.2005, they came to know that the respondent officials are fixing stones in their land for allotting them to some other individuals and the said action is without notice. Though the said Writ Petition has been admitted and interim order is granted on 17.6.2005, no counter-affidavit is filed by the respondents so far.

Heard and perused the material placed on record. 3.

In the circumstances, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents not to interfere with the possession of the land, under the occupation of petitioners, without following due process of law.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Petition shall stand closed.
