Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader for Energy for respondent No.1, Sri R. Vinod Reddy, learned standing counsel for respondents 2 to 5.

By two proceedings dated 07.09.2017, the Divisional Engineer, Elecl., Operation, Bhongir, accorded sanction to the petitioner for half pay leave for 360 days from 03.11.2009 to 28.10.2010 and extraordinary leave for 2273 days from 29.10.2010 to 18.01.2017. Petitioner filed appeal before the Chairman-cum-Managing Director, TSSPDCL, the 2nd respondent, dated 02.12.2017, acknowledged by the office on 16.02.2019, requesting to review the decision of the lower authority and to grant him full pay and allowances. Alleging inaction on the said appeal, this Writ Petition is filed. 3.

Since appeal was already filed and acknowledged, without entering into the merits of the case, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 2nd respondent to pass orders on the appeal dated 02.12.2017 filed by the petitioner within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
