THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE CHALLA KODANDA RAM WRIT PETITION No. 15594 OF 2017 O R D E R :

Petitioner claims to be the absolute owner and possessor of open land in an extent of 1697 square yards in Survey No. 967/P situated at Hunter Road, Hanamkonda, Warangal District. The case of the petitioner is that he applied for regularization of the land under Land Regularization Scheme and paid Rs.1,04,580/- towards penalty, but however, the 2nd respondent authorities have not regularized his land.

He therefore, submitted the representation dated 15.09.2011, but no steps have been taken thereon. Hence, the Writ Petition.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioner as well as Sri M. Ajay Kumar, learned Standing Counsel for the 2nd respondent and Ms. P. Lakshmi, learned Standing Counsel for the 3rd respondent.

In the facts of the case, the interests of justice would be met if the 2nd respondent authorities are directed to consider the Application of the petitioner in accordance with law. The Writ Petition is therefore, disposed of directing the 2nd respondent authorities to consider the Application of the petitioner dated 29.07.2009 and pass necessary orders thereon, in accordance with law, within eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.

Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand disposed of.
