HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE A.RAJASHEKER REDDY WRIT PETITON No.19792 of 2019 ORDER:
The prayer of the petitioner in this Writ Petition is as under: "...to issue an appropriate Writ Order or Direction more particularly one in nature of Writ of Mandamus declaring the inaction of the Respondents in giving admission to the Petitioner into B.Sc Agriculture instead of B.V.Sc and AH though eligible under the physically handicapped quota as illegal, arbitrary unconstitutional and against the principles of natural justice and direct the Respondents to give admission to the Petitioner in B.V.Sc and A H in the College of Veterinary Sciences Rajendranagar of the 2nd Respondent University and pass such other order or orders as this Hon'ble Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case." Sri Aka Venkata Ram, learned Standing Counsel for respondent No.2 University, produced the letter, dated 14.9.2019, addressed to him by the Registrar of the respondent University, wherein it is inter alia stated as under:
"I am to further inform that the above said committee has examined the candidate Mr. M.Kevin and reported that the petitioner is physically suitable for admission into B.V.Sc & AH course under Physically Handicapped (OH) quota. Based on the report of the committee, University has decided to consider the case of the petitioner for admission into B.V.Sc & AH course for the academic year 2019-20 under Physically Handicapped quota and informed the PJTSAU (first respondent) who is conducting combined counselling to the above said courses to allot a B.V.Sc. & AH course to the petitioner under Physically Handicapped (PH) in the next counselling on 16.9.2019."
Recording the above contents in the aforesaid letter, the Writ Petition is disposed of.
As a sequel, Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
