What has been challenged in this Writ Petition is only the show cause notice dated 11.01.2017.

Heard learned counsel for the petitioners as well as Sri T.

Chandra Prasad, learned Standing Counsel for Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority.

As the petitioners challenge the show cause notice only, it is not necessary for this Court to enter into various factors, which the learned counsel on either side submit. Suffice it to say that the petitioners are at liberty to submit a detailed explanation, including the ones which they have mentioned in the Writ affidavit. As and when such an explanation is submitted, the respondent Urban Development Authority shall pass appropriate orders thereon. The petitioners, if are aggrieved by the order that might be passed, it is open for them to avail the remedies under law. With this, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, the miscellaneous Applications, if any shall also stand closed.
