THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTICE P. NAVEEN RAO WRIT PETITION No.10000 OF 2017 ORDER:

In this Writ Petition, the grievance of the petitioner is that his appointment as Correspondent of SALC Elementary School and HMM High School, Railway Kodur Village, is held up since no orders are passed on the proposal submitted by the Deputy Educational Officer, Roychoti, YSR Kadapa District, the 4th respondent, on 17.11.2015, addressed to the District Educational Officer, YSR Kadapa District, the 3rd respondent. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner contends that the proposal is not finalised causing lot of hardship to the petitioner as well as the School.

Earlier the matter was adjourned for obtaining instructions by learned Assistant Government Pleader for Education with regard to the reasons for not finalising the proposal. 4.

Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Education, on instructions, submits that the 3rd respondent erroneously forwarded the proposal to the office of the Commissioner, School Education, whereas the competent authority to consider the issue is, the District Collector and immediate steps are being taken to forward the proposal to the District Collector and requested reasonable time of four weeks to finalise the issue. 5.

In view of the instructions furnished to learned Government Pleader for Education, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to forward the proposal to the District Collector,

YSR Kadapa District, within a period of one week from today and on receipt of the said proposal, the District Collector shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three weeks thereafter. There shall be no order as to costs.

Miscellaneous Petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
