ORAL ORDER:

Writ petition was filed challenging the order of removal from service, as affirmed by the Labour Court-I, Hyderabad in I.D. No. 148 of 2009. During the pendency of the writ petition, joint memo was filed signed by petitioner and Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (for short TSRTC), wherein TSRTC has agreed to convert the order of removal from service to one of retirement from service with effect from 6.10.2007. On the request made by the parties, the writ petition was referred to Lok Adalath for resolution of the dispute. Accordingly, the dispute was resolved before the Lok Adalath and Lok Adalath in the Award passed on 9.12.2017 recorded the settlement. The terms of settlement would disclose that the punishment of removal from service is converted to one of retirement from service with effect from 6.10.2007 and TSRTC, taking into consideration service rendered by petitioner, has agreed to extend retirement benefits to petitioner upto 6.10.2007, which is agreed by the petitioner.

Recording the terms of award, writ petition is disposed of. No costs.

Having regard to the same, miscellaneous petitions, if any pending, are closed.
