This Writ Petition is filed by the petitioner alleging inaction on the part of the respondents in considering the petitioner's case for appointment on compassionate grounds since his father, who was employed in Government service, died.
Petitioner gave a representation on 18.11.2016 to the 1st respondent seeking appointment on compassionate grounds and alleges that the 1st respondent has not passed any orders thereon. Learned Government Pleader (Services) appearing for the respondents states that the 1st respondent will consider the petitioner's representation within a period of eight (08) weeks and communicate the decision to the petitioner.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 18.11.2016 within a period of eight (08) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate his decision to the petitioner.
