ORDER: (Per the Hon'ble the Chief Justice Sri Raghvendra Singh Chauhan) Mr. Shaik Rafi, the petitioner, has filed the present Habeas Corpus Writ Petition, ostensibly, on the ground that the detenue, Shaziya Button, a young lady whom he claims to be in love with, is being illegally detained by her father, Mohd. Sajid Ali, the respondent No.6.

In compliance of the order dated 12.09.2019, the respondent No.5, the Inspector of Police, Nalgonda I Town Police Station, has produced the detenue, Shaziya Button, before this Court. This Court has had an occasion to speak to Shaziya Button. She informs this Court that she is twenty-five years young lady, who is working in a School. She further informs this Court that she has no relationship with the petitioner. It is the petitioner, who is harassing her and trying to force her to marry him. However, she has no desire of marrying him. According to her, she is living happily with her parents. But, due to the harassment caused to her by the petitioner, she had to travel all the way from Nalgonda to Hyderabad to attend the hearing today. She further expresses her fear that she may continue to be stalked by the petitioner and the petitioner may continue to embarrass her both professionally and socially.

Considering the statement given by the detenue, Shaziya Button, this Habeas Corpus Writ Petition is hereby dismissed. This Court directs the respondent No.5 to restore her custody to the respondent No.6. The petitioner is directed to pay costs of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand Only) to the respondent No.6, for the needless harassment caused by him to Shaziya Button. The said amount shall be paid by the petitioner

within a period of one week, failing which the respondent No.6 would be free to file a contempt petition against the petitioner. The miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, shall stand closed.
