The learned counsel for the writ petitioner would submit that in view of the fact that the license period of the petitioner has already expired, the cause in the writ petition does not survive for adjudication and that, therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous. 2.

The learned Government Pleader for Prohibition and Excise (A.P.) representing the respondents 1 to 3 is present. 3.

Recording the said submission, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Miscellaneous petitions pending, if any, in this writ petition shall stand closed.
