THE HON'BLE SRI JUSTI CE SANJAY KUMAR AND THE HON'BLE SMT. JUSTI CE ANI S CONTEMPT CASE No.493 of 2016 ORDER: (per Hon'ble Sri Justice Sanjay Kumar) This contempt case was instituted alleging willful disobedience to the order dated 27.10.2014 passed by this Court in W.P.No.18381 of 2013. By the said order, this Court directed the Commissioner, Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC), to take further action in the matter in accordance with law.

A detailed counter-affidavit was filed by the Commissioner, GHMC, setting out the steps taken pursuant to the aforestated order. Paragraph 6 of the said counter-affidavit demonstrates the action taken by the Commissioner, GHMC, in compliance with the due procedure. In the event the petitioner still has any grievance with regard to the steps taken, it is not open to him to seek redressal thereof in contempt proceedings. We find that the Commissioner, GHMC, has taken suitable steps as gauged by him in accordance with law. The contempt case is accordingly dismissed.
