HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE M.S.RAMACHANDRA RAO CONTEMPT CASE No.1256 of 2019 ORDER:

This Contempt Case is filed alleging willful disobedience of the order dt.18-12-2018 passed in W.P.No.1 of 2018 in W.P.No.44331 of 2018.

This Court had directed the Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited and the District Collector-cum-Chairman, For the District Selection Committee for Land Losers, Jogulamba Gadwal District to consider petitioner's representation dt.24-08-2017 in six weeks.

The District Collector, Jogulamba Gadwal District has filed a counter-affidavit stating that petitioner's name has been included in the final list of displaced persons at Sl.No.63 and that the same has been communicated to the Telangana State Power Generation Corporation Limited (its Superintending Engineer, PJP Circle No.1, Gadwal). 4.

The Telangana Sate Power Generation Corporation Limited had also given a response on 22-02-2019 to the petitioner disposing of petitioner's representation stating that as and when there is recruitment undertaken in the category of posts equivalent to Junior Assistant or Typists or other posts, eligible land losers would be considered in 50% quota earmarked for such land losers.

In the counter-affidavit filed by 1st respondent also, the same is reiterated.

In this view of the matter, I do not find any contempt warranting punishment of respondents for Contempt of Court. 7.

Accordingly, this Contempt Case is close. No costs.
