Learned counsel for the petitioners does not press this petition on merits and seeks liberty to the petitioners to make fresh application for allotment of shops and direction to the concerned authority to consider their application on merits in accordance with law.

Writ petition is disposed of as not pressed. It is open to the petitioners to make an application for allotment of shops within a period of six weeks from today. If any such application is made by the petitioners, the concerned authority shall consider the same on merits in accordance with law and communicate its decision to the petitioners within a period of four weeks from the date of decision. Miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand disposed of. No order as to costs.
